Sniper Hog Lights

Rob: I was wondering which gun mount with a mini-sniper light gives the best light output looking thru the scope;the scope mount or the barrel mount,or is there any noticeable difference.? Also if you mount a mini-sniper on a 50 mm scope using your scope mount ,will the larger 50 mm objective block out the bottom part of the light beam?

The scope mount works best for me but some like the barrel better because the light does not relect off the gun or scope. The light will not clear a 50 mm objective with just the scope mount but if you get the sope mount and rifle mount you can mount the ring of the rifle mount to the scope mount and it will clear. There will be some pictures showing this on the website in a few days.

If you mount the rifle mount ring to the scope mount the ring will be on either the left or right side of the scope mount and not on top,right?Another question:Will a rifle mount fit on a 22 barrel with a bottom shell chamber or will I have to go with a scope mount in this case?

I have a 30mm scope tube can i get the scope mount in that size in the kit?

Got an e-mail saying there is no 30mm scope mount for the light ...Well that sucks!.... was looking forward to get the Destory!!!

redog:From what I have seen since I got my mini-sniper ,the scope mount will not let the light beam clear the top of my 50 mm scope on my 270,but with the scope mount it will definitely fit and clear a 30 mm scope because I put a scope mount on my 22,which has a 30 mm scope.The scope mount fits any size scope with a 1" tube and as I said,the light beam will clear any mm size below a 50 mm.The mounts and light are very well built .

We are working on a mount to fit 30mm scope tubes. It will be a while before they come out though.
